7MGTE cranks but no Check Engine Light (CEL) illuminates when key is turned to ON position, making diagnosis impossible since no trouble codes can be read
Loose 10-pin connector at the ECU with a broken retaining clip, or a burned-out CEL bulb in the instrument cluster. Either issue prevents the CEL from illuminating, masking underlying fault codes.
