Idle Hunting, Stalling & Engine Flooding After Long Storage - Cleaning & FPR Leak

Fuel SystembeginnerOP Confirmed
Problem

1986 Supra 3.0 N/A with LPG system that sat for 7 years after engine rebuild exhibited multiple running issues including erratic idle, stalling, and engine flooding

Cold idle hunting between 500-1500 RPMFrequent stalling when cold, especially when throttle is blippedWarm idle stuck high at 1300-1400 RPMEngine stalling when switched to LPGSputtering and power loss above 2000 RPM, especially on petrolOccasional difficulty starting when warm
Root Cause

Dirty ICV (idle control valve), throttle body, distributor cap and rotor caused the idle issues. A leaking fuel pressure regulator was allowing fuel to pass through even on LPG mode, flooding the engine and causing stalling on LPG.
