No Tail Lights / Dash Lights / License Plate Lights - Tail Light Relay Replacement

ElectricalbeginnerOP Confirmed
Problem

Multiple lighting circuits were not working: tail lights, dashboard lights, license plate lights, rear side marker lights, and 3rd brake light. Brake lights, turn signals, hazards, headlights, fog lights, dome light, and door marker lights all functioned normally. Owner initially replaced the headlight control stalk thinking it was the switch, but that did not resolve the issue.

No tail lightsNo dashboard/gauge lightsNo license plate lightsNo rear side marker lightsNo 3rd brake light (hatch-mounted)Front side marker lights not working (later found to be a burned bulb)Brake light warning indicator illuminated on dash
Root Cause

A faulty tail light relay was preventing power from reaching the tail light circuit, which feeds the tail lights, dashboard illumination, license plate lights, and rear side marker lights. The relay appeared visually fine (looked relatively new) but was not functioning properly.
