SuperPro Steering Rack Bushing Install - Passenger Side Fitment Fix

SuspensionintermediateCommunity Verified
Problem

SuperPro polyurethane steering rack bushings are extremely difficult to install on the MKIII Supra, particularly on the passenger side. The bushing is too tight for the bracket to close enough to thread the mounting bolts in by hand, and the bolt holes will not align without significant force.

Root Cause

The SuperPro polyurethane steering rack bushings are a tight/interference fit on the MKIII steering rack, especially on the passenger side. The stiffer polyurethane material does not compress as easily as the original rubber, making the bracket very difficult to clamp down far enough to start the mounting bolts.
