New Build Won't Start - Bypass Igniter for ECU Master Direct Coil Control

ElectricaladvancedOP Confirmed
Problem

After completing a new 7MGTE build with an ECU Master standalone ECU and a 36-2 crank trigger (replacing the original CPS), the engine would not start. Two of the coils were not receiving an ignition signal.

Root Cause

The factory DLI (Distributorless Ignition) system relies on the G1 and G2 input signals from the original CPS (Cam Position Sensor) to trigger the igniter, which then fires coils via the IGDA and IGDB outputs. After converting to a 36-2 crank trigger with only one cam input signal, the igniter no longer had the inputs it needed to drive all three coils. Additionally, part of the wiring harness related to the MAF, CPS, and oxygen sensor had been cut off, further disrupting the signal path to the coils through the igniter.
