ABS Not Working After Auto to R154 Manual Swap - Speed Sensor Connector Mating

BrakesintermediateOP Confirmed
Problem

After a previous owner swapped the car from automatic transmission to R154 manual transmission, the ABS system was non-functional because the transmission speed sensor connector was not hooked up to the body harness.

ABS system non-functional after auto-to-manual transmission swapTransmission speed sensor plug disconnected from body harness
Root Cause

During the auto-to-R154 manual swap, the transmission speed sensor was not connected to the body harness. The automatic and manual transmissions use different connector plugs (4-pin on auto vs 3-pin on manual) for the speed sensor to body harness connection, so the swap left the ABS speed signal disconnected.
