ECUMaster No Spark After Igniter Delete - CPS Wiring and Coil Settings

ElectricaladvancedOP Confirmed
Problem

After rewiring an ECUMaster EMU Black standalone ECU harness and deleting the OEM igniter on a 7MGTE, the car had crank but no start. Fuel pressure, injector actuation, and timing sync all appeared normal, but there was no spark.

Root Cause

Three combined issues: (1) After deleting the OEM igniter, the ECU ignition output type was still set to 'coils with amplifier' instead of 'coils without amplifier', since the ECU's built-in drivers were now firing the coils directly. (2) The G1 and G2 signals from the CPS (crank position sensor) were incorrectly tied together per a misread ECUMaster instruction — only one signal (G2) should be used, not both combined. (3) These issues prevented the ECU from properly driving the ignition coils despite appearing to have sync and spark events in the logs.
