Rear Hatch Glass Trim Side Pieces Too Long - Enlarge Corner Notches

After installing replacement rear hatch glass trim pieces, the side trims are approximately 1/4 inch too long and do not line up flush with the rear trim piece. Additionally, there is a ~1cm gap at the top of the trim which appears normal but raises water intrusion concerns.

The notches in the top corner trim pieces where the side trims slide in are not large enough to allow the side pieces to seat fully, preventing proper alignment.
