No-Crank No-Start - Broken Starter Connector Clip (1JZ/2JZ Swap)

ElectricalintermediateOP Confirmed
Problem

Car would not start at all after running fine 30 minutes prior. Lights and radio turned on fine, but turning the key produced nothing. Previously had an intermittent no-start that was resolved by locking/unlocking the passenger door (suggesting alarm/security involvement), but this time no amount of lock/unlock cycling would fix it and no alarm lights were flashing.

Root Cause

The brown connector clip on the starter motor was broken, causing the ignition signal wire to fall off and hang disconnected. Without the ignition signal reaching the starter solenoid, the starter would not engage at all despite the battery and electrical system being fine.
