Discontinued ISCV/IACV Hoses Replacement - Silicone Kit or Auto Parts Store Hoses

Fuel SystembeginnerCommunity Verified
Problem

The OEM rubber hoses connecting the Idle Speed Control Valve (ISCV/IACV) become hard and brittle after 10-15 years of underhood heat exposure, cracking when removed. Toyota has discontinued the replacement hoses (particularly the #2 hose and the 7MGE #1 hose, part number 17347-42010), making OEM replacement impossible.

Root Cause

OEM rubber ISCV hoses degrade from prolonged underhood heat exposure (especially on turbocharged 7MGTE engines), becoming brittle and cracking after approximately 10-15 years. Toyota has discontinued the replacement parts.
