SuperPro Rear Subframe Bushing Install - Gap Fix and Press-In Tips

SuspensionintermediateCommunity Verified
Problem

When installing SuperPro rear subframe bushings, one bushing was slightly too short creating a visible gap between the bushing and the chassis mounting point. Additionally, the bushings were extremely difficult to press into the subframe due to tight tolerances (SuperPro bushings are ~1mm smaller than OEM).

Root Cause

The SuperPro rear subframe bushings are approximately 1mm smaller in diameter than OEM, making them very tight to press in. Additionally, slight variations in chassis or subframe dimensions can cause one bushing to sit slightly short, leaving a gap at the mounting surface.
