BE-104 BODY ELECTRICAL SYSTEM — Audio System TEST 2 Proceed to Test 3 Yes Are all connectors behind radio and tape player properly connected? → Yes → Is there power to radio and player connectors? → Yes → Are radio and player properly connected? ↓ No ↓ No ↓ No Connect properly. Inspect and repair power wire Properly reinstall. harness to radio and player. TEST 3 Are speaker connectors connected? → Yes → Temporarily install another speaker. → OK → Replace speaker. ↓ No ↓ No Connect properly. → Is there continuity in speaker wire harness? → Yes → Replace radio and tape player. ↓ No w/o Player Inspect and repair speaker Proceed to Test 1 of wire harness. following item. (b) Tape player okay but no sound from either the AM or FM band. Possible causes: • Antenna disconnected • Antenna plug not properly connected • Defective antenna • Defective antenna cable • Defective radio or tape player • Blown RADIO fuse • Short circuit or broken wire in wire harness for back-up power source TEST 1 Is radio electronic search type? → Yes → Is either AM or FM okay? → Yes → Proceed to Test 2. ↓ No ↓ No Proceed to Test 3.
