J Inspection of neutral start switch circuit. Turn ignition switch off. NEUTRAL START SWITCH INSPECT GROUND CONNECTION Disconnect connector from neutral start switch. Is there continuity between terminal 2 of wire harness side connector and body ground? No → Open circuit in wire harness between terminal 2 and body ground. Yes ↓ INSPECT NEUTRAL START SWITCH OPERATION Is neutral start switch operation normal? (See page BE-82) No → Replace neutral switch. Yes ↓ Connect connector to neutral start switch. COMPUTER Disconnect connector from computer and inspect connector on wire harness side as follows. INSPECT NEUTRAL START SWITCH CIRCUIT Is there continuity between terminal 11 and body ground when shifted to "N" and "P" range? No → Open circuit in wire harness between terminal 11 of computer and terminal 3 of neutral start switch. Yes ↓ Replace computer.
