AT1–84 AT340E (2JZ–GE) AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION – TROUBLESHOOTING 2 Check stop light signal. ON DLC2 TT E1 C 1. Connect a voltmeter to the terminals TT and E1 of the DLC2. 2. Turn ignition switch ON (Do not start the en- gine). 3. Fully depress the accelerator pedal until the voltmeter indicates 8 V and hold it. 4. Depress and release the brake pedal and check the voltage. OK Brake pedal Voltage Depressed 0 V Released 8 V IG ON 8 V Accelerator Pedal Brake Pedal 0 V 8E3840 AT5630 AT1065 NG OK Proceed to next circuit inspection shown on matrix chart (See page AT1–58). 3 Check harness and connector between ECM and stop light switch (See page IN–30). OK NG Repair or replace harness or connector Check and replace ECM.
