BRAKE SYSTEM – ANTI–LOCK BRAKE SYSTEM (ABS)
INSPECTION PROCEDURE.
1 Check TRAC pump motor.
P Disconnect TRAC pump motor connector.
C Check continuity between each terminal of TRAC pump motor shown below.
OK Terminals 1 and 3 Continuity (Reference value 100 or less)
Terminals 2 and 3 Continuity (Reference value 4 ~ 6 or less)

OK NG Replace TRAC pump motor.
2 Check continuity between terminal 1 of TRAC pump motor connector and body ground.
C Measure resistance between terminal 1 of TRAC pump motor connector and body ground.
OK Resistance: 1 or less

OK NG Repair or replace harness or connector.
3 Check for open and short in harness and connector between TRAC pump motor and ECU (See page IN–30).
OK NG Repair or replace harness or connector.
Check and replace ABS & TRAC ECU.
