LOCK P squib Center Airbag Sensor Assembly Spiral Cable D squib AB0117 R05902 P (1) Disconnect negative (–) terminal cable from the battery, and wait at least 90 seconds. (2) Remove steering wheel pad. (See RS–10) (3) Disconnect connector of front passenger airbag assembly. (See page Rs–20) Caution Store the steering wheel pad with the front sur- face facing upward. 2 Check P squib circuit. Center Airbag Sensor Assembly P squib Spiral Cable D squib P– P+ R05911 AB0068 P Disconnect center airbag sensor assembly connec- tor. C For the connector (on the center airbag sensor as- sembly side) between the center airbag sensor as- sembly and front passenger airbag assembly mea- sure the resistance between P+ and P–. OK Resistance: Less than 1 NG OK Repair or replace harness or connector be- tween center airbag sensor assembly and front passenger airbag assembly.
