24. REMOVE OVERDRIVE CLUTCH
Grasp the shaft and pull out the overdrive clutch assembly.
Watch for the bearings and races on both sides of the assembly.
25. REMOVE OVERDRIVE CASE AND BRAKE
Hold both sides of the overdrive case and pull it out from
the transmission case. Watch for the bearings and races
on both sides of the assembly.
26. MEASURE DISTANCE BETWEEN TOP OF CASE AND
CLUTCH DRUM
Set SST on the case as shown in the figure.
SST 09350-20013 (09370 12010)
Make a note of the finding for reassembly.
27. REMOVE FRONT CLUTCH AND BEARINGS
Grasp the shaft and pull out the front clutch assembly.
Watch for the bearings and races on both sides of the assembly.
28. REMOVE REAR CLUTCH
Grasp the clutch hub and pull it out from the case.
