A INSPECTION OF SOURCE CIRCUIT
Turn ignition switch on.
Is ECU fuse normal?
No → Replace fuse.
Is operation normal?
No → • Short circuit in wire harness between fuse and terminal 3 of main switch.
• Inspect control switch.
Yes → Fuse faulty.

INSPECT POWER SOURCE
Is there battery voltage between terminal 1
of main switch and body ground?
No → Open circuit in wire harness between fuse and terminal 1 of main switch.
Yes ↓
INSPECT GROUND CONNECTION
Disconnect connector from main switch.
Is there continuity between terminal 5 of
wire harness side connector and body ground?
No → • Open circuit in wire harness between terminal 5 of main switch and body ground.
• Body ground faulty.
Yes ↓
INSPECT SWITCH OPERATION
Is there battery voltage between terminal 3
and body ground with main switch turn on?
No → Inspect main switch.
Yes ↓
CONTROL S/W
INSPECT GROUND CONNECTION
Disconnect connector from control switch.
Is there continuity between terminal 14 of
wire harness side connector and body ground?
No → Open circuit in wire harness between terminal 14 of control switch and body ground.
Yes ↓
INSPECT SET/COAST SWITCH OPERATION
Is there continuity between terminal 30 and
body ground with set/coast switch turned on?
No → Inspect control switch.
Yes ↓
