H    INSPECTION OF LIGHT CONTROL RELAY CIRCUIT

Turn ignition switch off.

DIODE

INSPECT DIODE CONTINUITY
Is diode of headlight control relay side
and/or taillight control relay side normal?
(See page BE-14)

No    Replace diode.

Yes

COMPUTER

Disconnect computer and inspect connector
on wire harness side as follows.

INSPECT HEADLIGHT CONTROL RELAY
CIRCUIT
Disconnect taillight control relay and
theft deterrent horn.
Is there battery voltage between terminal 12
and body ground?

No    Open or short circuit in wire harness
between terminal 12 of computer and
terminal 1 of headlight control relay.

Yes

INSPECT TAILLIGHT CONTROL RELAY
CIRCUIT
Disconnect headlight control relay and
theft deterrent horn.
Is there battery voltage between terminal
12 and body ground?

No    Open or short circuit in wire harness
between terminal 12 of computer and
terminal 1 of taillight control relay.

Yes

Replace computer.
