DISASSEMBLE SECOND COAST BRAKE PISTON
(a)  Remove the E-ring.
(b)  Remove the piston, spring and retainer from the piston
      rod.
(c)  Remove the oil seal ring form the piston.

INSPECTION OF SECOND COAST BRAKE BAND

INSPECT BRAKE BAND
If the lining of the brake band is peeling off or discolord,
or even if parts of the printed numbers are defaced, replace
the brake band.
HINT:  Before assembling new band, soak it in ATF for at
        least two hours.
