BODY ELECTRICAL SYSTEM — Theft Deterrent System BE-97 L | INSPECTION OF THEFT DETERRENT HORN CIRCUIT. Turn ignition switch off. Is HAZ HORN fuse normal? → No → Replace fuse. Is operation normal? → No → Short circuit in wire harness between fuse and terminal 6 of computer. ↓ Yes Fuse faulty. THEFT DETERRENT HORN ↓ INSPECT THEFT DETERRENT HORN OPERATION Disconnect connector from horn. Is horn operation normal? (See page BE-109) → No → Replace theft deterrent horn. ↓ Yes COMPUTER ↓ Disconnect computer connector and inspect connector on wire harness side as follows. ↓ INSPECT THEFT DETERRENT HORN CIRCUIT Ground the terminal 6 and check that blow the theft deterrent horn. → No → Open circuit in theft deterrent horn circuit. ↓ Yes Replace computer.
