Does any abnormal change occur in continuity when the connectors or wire harness of the speed sensor and intermediate connectors are twisted or bent?
YES (Abnormal change) → Faulty wire harness.
NO (No change)

Is there foreign material or ferric chips on the sensor tip?
YES → Clean chips from the speed sensor.
NO

Inspect the front axle hub serrations and sensor rotor serrations.
(See pages BR-67 and 70)

Are the front axle hub serrations and sensor rotor serrations OK?
NO → Faulty front axle hub and/or sensor rotor.
YES
↓
Inspect the brake actuator operation.
(See page BR-61)

Is actuator operation OK?
NO → Faulty brake actuator.
YES

Replace the speed sensor.
