REAR AXLE AND SUSPENSION — Differential RA-39 Heel Contact Face Contact Select an adjusting shim that will bring the drive pinion closer to the ring gear. Toe Contact Flank Contact Select an adjusting shim that will shift the drive pinion away from the ring gear. Proper Contact If the teeth are not contacting properly, use the following chart to select a proper washer for correction. INSTALL OIL SLINGER AND NEW FRONT OIL SEAL (a) Install the oil slinger. (b) Using SST, drive in a new oil seal. SST 09554-30011 Oil seal drive in depth: 1.5 mm (0.059 in.)
