(b) Check that there is no continuity between terminals 1 and 2 when the switch is turned to the left or neutral position. If operation is not as specified, replace the switch. Door Lock Switch INSPECTION OF SWITCH INSPECT SWITCH OPERATION (a) Check that there is continuity between terminals 1 and 3 when the switch is free. (b) Check that there is no continuity between terminals 1 and 3 when the switch pin is pushed. If operation is not as specified, replace the switch. Engine Hood Courtesy Switch INSPECTION OF SWITCH INSPECT SWITCH OPERATION (a) Check that there is continuity between terminals 1 and 3 when the switch is free. (b) Check that there is no continuity between terminals 1 and 3 when the switch pin is pushed. If operation is not as specified, replace the switch.
