Shock? 1→2 2→1 AT2809 002501 (c) Check for abnormal noise at acceleration and deceleration, and for shock at up–shift and down–shift. 2 Position No Up-Shift 2→3 004365 4. 2 POSITION TEST (MANU PATTERN) Shift into the 2 position and while driving with the accelerator pedal held constantly at the full throttle valve opening position, push in one of the pattern selectors and check these points: (a) Check no up–shift. While running in the 2 position, check to see that there is no up–shift to 3rd gear. 2 Position Engine Braking? AT2811 002500 (b) Check engine braking. While running in the 2 position and 2nd gear, release the accelerator pedal and check the engine braking effect. 2 Position Abnormal Noise ? 004315 (c) Check for abnormal noise during acceleration and deceleration. L POSITION TEST Shift into the L position and while driving with the accelerator pedal held constantly at the full throttle valve opening position check the these points: (a) Check no up–shift.
