Acceleration and deceleration signals are transmitted by changes in the Duty Ratio (See note below). Duty Ratio The duty ratio is the ratio of the period of continuity in one cycle. For example, if A is the period of conti- nuity in one cycle, and B is the period of non–continuity, then Duty Ratio = A / (A + B) × 100 (%) ON OFF 1 cycle Code Diagnosis Trouble area 11 • Overcurrent (short) in motor circuit. • Cruise control actuator motor • Harness or connector between actuator motor and ECU • ECU 14 • Open in actuator motor circuit. 41 • Duty ratio of 100 % output to motor acceleration side.
