LOCK P squib Center Airbag Sensor Assembly Spiral Cable D squib AB0117 R05902 P (1) Disconnect negative (–) terminal cable from the battery, and wait at least 90 seconds. (2) Remove steering wheel pad (See page RS–10). (3) Disconnect connector of front passenger airbag assembly (See page RS–20). Caution Store the steering wheel pad with the front sur- face facing upward. 2 Check P squib circuit. Center Airbag Sensor Assembly P squib Spiral Cable D squib P– P+ R05908 AB0068 C For the connector (on the center airbag sensor as- sembly side) between the center airbag sensor as- sembly and front passenger airbag assembly, mea- sure the resistance between P+ and P–. OK Resistance: 1 k or higher OK NG Go to step 5 .
