ON Pattern "MANU" Mode Pattern Select Select Switch Indicator Light Switch Point MANU ON MANU OFF SE6653 Q04452 C 1. Turn ignition siwtch ON. 2. Check "MANU" mode indicator light when pat- tern select switch is pushed in to ON. OK "MANU" mode indicator light comes on and stays on. Hint If the A/T fluid temp. becomes too hot, the "MANU" mode indicator light flashes for several seconds and goes off. The driving mode then automatically changes from MANU mode to the NORM mode. OK NG Wait until the A/T fluid temp. is reduced. 3 Check voltage between terminal M of ECM connector and body ground. ON Check Harness A ECM M A 18 SE6653 AT8772 P 1. Connect the Check Harness A to the ECM (See page EG–404). 2. Turn igntion switcn ON. C Measure voltage between the terminal M of ECM connector and body ground when the pattern se- lect switch is set to the MANU (MANUAL) position and NORM (NORMAL) position. OK Pattern select switch Voltage MANU 7.5 – 14 V NORM Below 1.5 V Hint The ECM uses the Normal pattern signal if the Manual signal is not input. NG OK Proceed to next circuit inspection shown on matrix chart. (See page AT1–58) Go to step 4.
